2014 October “Blog Teaching” Assignments

We have home teaching and visiting teaching at our church. I decided that we need monthly “Blog Teaching.”

Sometimes when we get stuck in a writers block and we just need a friend to encourage us to keep blogging. So every month I’ll pair a WordPress Ward blog to “teach” another WordPress Ward blog for “Blog Teaching!”

Here are the steps to fulfill your “Blog Teaching” assignment:

1) Click on your assignment blog

2) Read and like a couple of their posts

3) Comment and say something nice on their blog

4) Return and report on this post by commenting below

I hope you’ll enjoy meeting and getting to know other WordPress Ward members blogs through “Blog Teaching!!”

OH and please don’t forget to do your REAL home teaching and visiting teaching for October! 🙂

If you are new to the WordPress Ward and is not listed. Check back next month for your “Blog Teaching” Assignment!!

  1. This is really great. I’ve been wondering how to go about finding more positive and uplifting blogs to follow. The ones I’ve had the opportunity to look at from the “wordpress ward” have been fantastic! I look forward to reading more posts from more blogs.

  2. Done for this month! yay! I found out on my assignment blog that Netflix is offering Mormon movies. I have searched high and low (maybe not hard enough) to see the movies but i guess its not offered on the Canadian Netflix yet. *fingers crossed!!!*

  4. This is great! I would love to be a part of it for the next month’s assignments. My blog is about relationships in marriage, dating, with yourself, and with God, so some of the posts aren’t religious. But there is a whole section of LDS themed posts, including most recently a talk I gave in sacrament meeting that is straight up churchy :). http://relationshiprefinery.com/2014/10/25/paying-the-price/
I would love to get to know more LDS blogs; this is a great idea!
