Testimony:  I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know without a doubt that this church is true. I know that our Savior lives and that He loves each and every one of us, more than we will ever be able to comprehend. I know that life can be hard sometimes, and that it’s easy to give into those thoughts of inadequacy. I can promise you that our Heavenly Father would never want us to feel that way about ourselves. He loves us. He sent His only begotten Son to come down to earth and die for us. I know that our Savior suffered and dies for us. I know that He bled from every pore in the Garden of Gethsemane and suffered for all the hurt and the sin that not only me, but everyone else who has lived, who is living, and will live on the earth today. He is the only person who truly knows the things that we go through. The only person who can truly understand because He has felt it too. I know that we have a true living prophet today who is called of God and that if we follow Him we will find blessings and happiness. I know this to be true. I know that Book of Mormon is true and that it changed my life. I know that it will change yours as well. I know that you are loved. I know that you can overcome anything through the atonement and our Savior Jesus Christ.

  1. I’m an LDS grandparent. I’m fascinated that you have continued blogging even though you have had few comments, that I could see. Are you still glad you did it? Will you continue? I’m proud of you for deciding to serve a mission. I have wondered about blogging what’s really on my mind & if it matters how many people read what I say. What do you think?

    • Is this question for the WordPress Ward or Beauty All Around? It takes years and a lot of work to build up an audience. Some blogs like Mormon Soprano has more followers because the longevity and good content of the blog. This post even though it didn’t get very many comments, it got 11 likes. The purpose of the WordPress Ward is not so much how many comments we get but rather to connect up all the good and virtuous Mormon Blogs out there. By connecting with other blogs then the hope it that eventually your blogs will get more followers and comments. I went to a seminar by the Church and they say… it’s not about the number of followers you have… it’s about the impact you make on one individual person. So don’t give up! Elder Bednar says to flood the internet with good things and by blogging is just one small way to do that. I can post more announcements on Saturday to help others understand how to get more comments and followers if that would help at all.
